Happy Halloween!
This was the first Halloween where Taylor was really in to it. She loves dressing up and she knows what candy is now. Ok I broke down and potty trained her using candy. We tried for 2 months without candy and she learned but had tons of accidents. Then we used candy and no accidents instantly and she now shouts "have ta go peeeee" and runs to the bathroom. I traded a mini m&m or a fruit bite for no pee on the floor, best trade ever!
She dressed up as a clown fish, it was particularly adorable when she wiggled her bum to move the tail.
We took her to Tumblebums for the Halloween party. It was fantastic, face painting, cookie decorating, bubbles, slides. What else can a kid ask for? I'm looking forward to taking her to the Christmas party on December 4th.
We tried the mall but that was a disaster. On the ride over we told her that if she said "trick or treat please" that people would give her candy. So she ran up to the first store and said "ticker treat pleeeeese" the man looked at my 2 year old and said " tricke 'r treat ended at 3. It's 3:05 so no more candy". That was exciting!
So we met up with some friends and we went door to door. She was obsessed with the jack-o-lanterns. We had to stop at each one and look at the fire.
It was a fantastic day and we all slept well that night. I hope your Halloween was memorable.
